The Greatest Secret for Our Success!!!!
I'd like to begin by sharing three quotes that are the most important ingredient in fully grasping and applying the Best Secret for Our Success. "First the old folks say that sometimes what were or are so desperately looking for, was or is right in front of our faces and if it had been a snake it would have bitten us". I have come to believe through my own very hard earned personal life experiences, which were paid for at a price greater than the students loans that I owe. The Old folks are right, because they are alumni of the same university, the University of Hard Knocks. My second quote comes from a mythical person Professor Charles Xavier commonly known as Dr.X the leader and founder of the X-Men. He said as he was organizing the X-Men in guiding them to be the heroic characters that we know them as. "Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and brave enough to ask for it".
So, you may or may not have gathered is that the Greatest Secret for our success is this "Ask for help". Going it on our own is noble and admirable, however seeking help from someone who will share their successes and failures can save us countless hours of anxiety, frustration and aggravation. I love lifting weights and sometimes, I just get in the mood to push my limits. While in the gym I also see others who are also determined to test their limits, but I've learned to ask someone for a spot or to help me. I also see others who won't ask for help. Allowing their ego and pride (testosterone) to set them up for failure. Although I may not succeed in my attempt, I am not placed in a situation where I can potentially hurt or make a fool of myself.
I have learned that in whatever areas of my life that are personally dear to me. My successes are directly linked to my ability to take courage, humble myself and ask for help. My last quote comes from a person whom both Christians and Jews alike believe to be the wealthiest and wisest person who ever lived King Solomon. He said "Plans fail for lack lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed" (Proverbs 15:22 N.I.V).
I don't know can you help me? May be the difference between a dream and the realization of it.
